Missional Church Top Ten List #9

The church is, by its very nature, missional. Being missional is not a part of what the church is to be about. It is what the church is! Just like we, as individual followers of Jesus are not simply to behave missionally in part, we are missional through and through because we belong to Jesus!

So, what would it really look like to be a missional church?

#9 We would see a move from church-centered concerns to people concerns. Congregations one at a time would be concerned less and less with maintaining or growing their churches. Rather, they would be filled with a passion to grow people! This would also mean that resources (people, money, technology) would be aligned toward people development.
